![]() In the late months of 2007 I bought my first Gameboy lsdj card and gave birth to my micromusic project. Some years later, around 2006, I took a new way for my project, passing on ambient-noise sonorities with the intent of mixing the musical forms I had been experiencing until then. It was the decisive factor who brought me to evolve my personal project with the electronic music, going from hardcore to a more electro sound. At the same time I began to develop a defined interest to the electronic music.During 2003 I approached to tekno music and had chance to perform in some rave parties. I am continuing to write for my 2nd Chiptune album, with the intention of fusing ‘madfiddler’ with ‘TDK - but don’t hold me to that.Īfter some years spent in several bands as guitar and bass player, I started to have my early experimentations through the use of analog pedal effects applied on the bass guitar, creating a style mostly based on a certain kind of “noise” sound. I brought the ‘TDK’ out of retirement in 2011 to write new chiptunes, and Reawakened was released in 2012. In this time, I wrote the soundtracks for games such as CyberSpeed, Duke Nukem Total Meltdown, Dungeon Keeper 2, Populous: The Beginning, Warhammer: Dark Omen, and Wing Commander (Amiga), and have since worked as a sound designer on games such as the Develop Magazine Audio Accomplishment nominated Race Driver: GRID, Develop Magazine Best art and sound nominated Sudeki, Theme Park World - which won a BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Awards award in 2000 for ‘best sound in a video game’, and the F1/DiRT and GRID franchises for Codemasters, where I work currently. From that I secured my first job in the video games industry in 1992, and left the demoscene in 1993. The black spots on the white and the blacked tipped wings are because Sasha was dwarf Hotot rabbit.I spent my college years writing chiptunes for various releases on the Commodore Amiga, for demogroups such as Anthrox and Melon Dezign, using the handle ‘TDK’. This custom was made from a blank Qee angel bunny figure. ![]() Unfortunately, we've become too busy to ever get the story going and we never truly got over Sasha's passing, but the legend of the ghost rabbit named Mister Boo lives on. The character named Mister Boo was modeled after Socks and would appear suddenly and often lead the heroes out of danger or to someone or something that they would need. I named him Mister Boo from an illustrated web story that my wife and I started called Gods, Heroes and Monsters. We spent a small fortune on surgeries in his last days, but despite everything we did to save him, but eventually he died in my wife's arms. Unfortunately, Sasha passed away a few years back. We knew him so well that I could tell if something was bothering him by the look on his face. He often liked to make me to chase him down our hallway. He was mischievous and incredibly intelligent. He was such a wonderful companion, and his personality seemed bigger than his little body could contain. I am also working on developing a line of toys that I can sell to the public. I am currently working on a couple of figures that I owe a friend. I do get a chance to work on artistic endeavors when I take some brief breaks. Unfortunately, my area of expertise is in packaging, product, and trade show materials, and the retail industry is being hit hard. I spent most of my days looking for job postings and applying to them. I have been working like crazy to get my portfolio together and to find a new opportunity. With many large companies doing massive lay offs right now, many of my friends are fearful for the stability of their jobs. It was very sad because the decision was made solely due to financial reasons. Now I am working on finishing up some long past projects that need to be done.īack in November 2008, I lost my job working as an Art Director. Up until now, most of the customs I have been showing you have been done quite some time ago.
